I think you are missing a critical factor here..America is in fact (at least) two nations, occupying the same space. Those with money and connection have all those things you postulate for a population stable Utopia. (They never seem to work, but look good on paper). While the rest are indeed faltering and falling at each hurdle. In the end their numbers will be thinned to the point they are no longer an issue and dont need to be considered in planning..😷

I doubt that it would cost that much. We are on the verge of self-driving cars; a self-actuated backhoe could scarcely cost more. Besides, José has overhead of his own... public schooling, Medicaid, food stamps, etc.

And what will happen to all the Uber drivers when a self-driving car will be picking you up instead of a human?

@Thinkerbell There will be the option to order a person for a few decades at least..And I suspect longer in America.. Digging into the research, it is likely that roads will either heavily modified or new ones built to help support driverless cars to a safe standard.. And America is not great on infrastructure building. I dont see the car builders stumping up for it..😷

The Georgia guidestones were put there for a reason, people are either too afraid or just too distracted from reality to understand how bad things have become.
I say we reduce the worlds megalomaniac philanthropist population and the future will be bright
