Cars kill a lot of Americans, around fifty thousand a year!-and public transportation could reduce the casualties to near zero.

Old age kills thousands every year, but people keep getting old. Sometimes stopping something isn't as easy as you might want to think.

Also, cars rarely kill anyone on their own. Usually someone is operating the car when it kills someone. I mean there was that one guy from Star Trek, but putting the break on would probably have helped.

I remember I almost got rand over once. Was walking with a friend and a bronco truck was driving before passing by us. The view mirror smacked my arm driving by.


I was fine not hurt but pissed. Me and my flipped the driver off until stops and we went hiding behind the trees XD
