Just a real quick question for Americans - no angst or fighting.

When a product from overseas - let’s use China as an example - has a tariff on it, you know it’s the American public who pays the higher expense to cover the tariffs, not the exporter right?

I’m just asking because a Texan friend of mine thought tariffs on Chinese products was paid by the Chinese government. But it’s not. It’s the American consume who pays the higher cost.

I know it’s obvious but I just thought if check everyone understood the tariff costs the consumer, not the exporter.

Yes, you're right. Any third grader in the rest of world, or any US State that did not vote for Trump gets it.

so wrong as always what you ignore is our cost of living more than doubled when no one cared they just justifed it now you're crying because you're going to have to pay a quarter more for slave labor products from countries that work against us.

You enjoy the tension in your life I'm pretty sure you've been here since 2018 and it's always been the same the omly difference is you don't block anymore because you mess the bickering it's a key point to your personality now. I'm pretty much a blank profile so you don't have much to go on but that F triggers you to no end it's a fixation for you. I dismiss it as sexist just to be ironic but i think it's more than that i think it's a trigger because it's potentially the only interaction with women you get and rather than associating women with being told your wrong and mindlessly digging in worthless bickering you'd rather just assume any Trump supporter is this stereotype you've created in your head because of course the world is much cozier and simple in your head than reality. I've enjoyed our recent bickering since Trump has been back in office but at this point i don't respect you the way i did in the past you come off as ridiculous as the rest of them on here. 2. You've been stalking me with various fake accounts for longer than 7 years.

3. Whatever your day job is, don't quit it, and I assume you're making some money off it, because psych analysis is not your forte.
