There likely would have been a problem with her getting in and especially out of the car with her size. Can’t expect a driver to be pulling or lifting her out and risking damaging his back. I lived in an apartment where a grossly obese young woman lived. If she went anywhere in her car she needed help getting out each time. I watched as a neighbor assisted her and he was getting frustrated with the time and effort and it wasn’t the first time. She died less than 2 weeks later and I wondered if it was suicide after seeing that. Even professionals trained in moving obese patients around are at a high risk of permanently damaging their back.
