CNN) — At least 15 Indigenous people in Arizona and New Mexico have reported being stopped at their homes and workplaces, questioned or detained by federal law enforcement and asked to produce proof of citizenship during immigration raids since Wednesday, according to Navajo Nation officials.

They do that in other countries. I know for a fact. I have been stopped in cars in the Middle East and had to produce papers. A country has a right to protect its borders. Even as a US citizen I always travel with my US passport. Yes even in the United States. I don’t have a problem proving who I am and where I’m from! No one should if they don’t have anything to hide.

@Panda5689 I have no problem at all, showing my ID if I am asked for it. I have nothing to hide. I’m proud of that fact.
