The USA has interests in every single part of the world, so it's also pointing nukes and guns at everything and everyone - that's "defensive".

No Americans here can "explain" why they made aggression equal to "defense" without personal insults or threats. Character.

Because Pearl Harbor showed what happens when we stay out of it. Europe can't contain its conflicts so we took over. Somebody had to because the rest of the world just couldn't be trusted with the job. When you aren't preemptive you put yourself in danger.
@Jackaloftheazuresand yes, you have always used attacks as an excuse for more attacks and always pretend you have no responsibility to make peace with everyone.
My point, exactly.
Jackaloftheazuresand · 26-30, M
@Roundandroundwego We do. Who's your master, show me what idol you bow to so I can take its divine luster from you
@Jackaloftheazuresand Sorry but those are myths. While Pearl Harbour was not expected the US did force a response from the Japanese by strangling their oil supply.

And the only reason the US got involved in Europe is because they could not declare war against Japan without going to war with the entire Axis. That is just the facts.

Try reading actual history as opposed to WW2 history according to American movies.
@Jackaloftheazuresand personal attacks - because you couldn't justify the violence with logic.
Jackaloftheazuresand · 26-30, M
@Roundandroundwego It was already justified, you just reject the premise for it. So I say again, what do you serve?
@Jackaloftheazuresand it's not about me. Obviously you cannot justify the horrors and you get enraged and attack, that's the topic - your aggression and inability to resolve issues or make peace.

@Jackaloftheazuresand violent sounding weaterner losing his mind is creepy... Makes my point yet again.
Jackaloftheazuresand · 26-30, M
@Roundandroundwego Violence make you uncomfortable, disciple? Why won't you tell us your secret, can't look yourself in the eye? You're alive and so you harvest but you don't want to admit it because it makes you look like the charlatan you actually are
@Jackaloftheazuresand violence is evil.
But normal for the evil empire and its compliant population.
Jackaloftheazuresand · 26-30, M
@Roundandroundwego Bwahahaha, yes and I've seen you relish it
@Jackaloftheazuresand it's impossible to justify but hard not to assume they deserve it!
JSul3 · 70-79
@Jackaloftheazuresand Correction.
Many US corporations were doing business with the Nazis. A good portion were not keen on getting involved into another war in Europe, after the horrors of WW2.
The US imposed an embargo on Japan. Japan's leaders decided rather than trying to negotiate with the US, they would be better served to attack the US fleet at Pearl Harbor.
The US was now at war in the Pacific.

Days later, Hitler declared war on the US.
Now the US was at war in Europe as well....like it or not.
Jackaloftheazuresand · 26-30, M
@JSul3 You people keep saying that like Japan wasn't invading other nations which they were doing because they were being allowed to. Stop trying to sell your narrative, it won't work on me.
@Jackaloftheazuresand And you pretend like the US were some heroes because they stood by and watched and only interfered (in the case of Japan) 20 years after the Japanese started their imperial conquest and they would have sat on their hands with Germany forever if the terms of declaring war on Japan did not automatically put them at war with Germany.
@Jackaloftheazuresand Recruiters love people like you for cannon fodder. All aggression and totally clueless.
JSul3 · 70-79
@Jackaloftheazuresand I am sorry you can not accept documented facts.
Everything I stated is fact. Feel free to fact check it.

I guess you believe that the US won WW2 single handed too.
JSul3 · 70-79
@PicturesOfABetterTomorrow Hitler made it easy when he declared war on the US.
@JSul3 Yeah no. That was not how that worked. The only reason the US got involved at all was because going to war with Japan by definition meant war with the Axis.

That is literally the entire point of military alliances.
Jackaloftheazuresand · 26-30, M
@JSul3 If that's how you want to spin your half truths
@Jackaloftheazuresand Cute coming from the guy spouting nothing but American movie plots.
JSul3 · 70-79
@PicturesOfABetterTomorrow Hitler declared war on the US days after the PH attack by Japan.
Fact.
JSul3 · 70-79
@Jackaloftheazuresand So, oh great wise one....what are the facts?
They are not found in a John Wayne movie.
Jackaloftheazuresand · 26-30, M
@JSul3 Careful ol' boy you're absorbing the other guy through osmosis. I've already told you, Japan was getting away attacking others and Pearl Harbor was what made intervention salient. Whatever you thought you were changing with that addition was really just you not understanding what was said.
JSul3 · 70-79
@Jackaloftheazuresand Show me where the US was planning an intervention in/on Japan prior to Peal Harbor attack.

The mood in the US about getting involved in Japan or Europe was nil, at best.

Pearl Harbor, followed by Hitler's declaration of war on the US changed things.
