For the first time in literally GENERATIONS, real wages are growing for the lower quintile of US workers. And they're growing FASTER under Biden than they did under Obama or Trump. For the first time in GENERATIONS, the lower half of workers are sharing in our economic growth!
There are more than 5,000,000 (FIVE MILLION) more people employed now than during the peak under Trump. Just read the graph.
And the number unemployed is historically low!
Inflation? The pandemic deflation was followed by worldwide inflation; that is now gone.
I'm gonna argue that the most important economic stat involves employment/unemployment. Interesting how unemployment almost always increases under republicans, isn't it?
@ElwoodBlues And the terrible thing about Americans is that you only have to say. She's the wrong color " or "They're takin' our jobs" and all the facts and logic go straight out the window..😷
Just because people aren't collecting unemployment doesn't mean less unemployment ... people could collect their 26 checks fall off the rolls until they qualify again (don't you dare say it doesn't happen) Some people can't live on the amount unemployment provides so they take a lesser paying job to live If I'm correct California raised minimum wage for foood servers and 2 things are happening .... jobs eliminated taken by robots and people are leaving other jobs to take these jobs because they pay more ... so yes there may be a need for workers but it's convoluted
Maybe look @ what it costs to exist today and what we're earning Costs have skyrocketed and pay isn't keeping up so are you better off with so called higher pay and extremely higher costs or they way it was several years ago ??????????
@pdockal Is this your way of telling us you couldn't read the employment graph showing 5,000,000 (FIVE MILLION) more people employed now than during the peak under Trump? Because that's what the BLS says, and their numbers are the same numbers Trump used to tout.
