The attempted assassination of Donald Trump

This was a deliberate attempt at killing Donald Trump. Americans should rejoice that he has lived to see another day. He is a man who is sacrificing his time, his reputation, his freedom, and now possibly his life to save America. How could you view the footage of this attempted assassination and not feel empathy for him, and be glad that he, by some miracle, survived?

Where does the alleged assassin come from? Why did he try to murder Trump?

It didn't happen. It was fake news. It was a hoax perpetrated by the Russians. Don't worry, be happy.

@swirlie It happened. One man is dead. The governor of Pennsylvania said that he has a wife and two daughters, that he attended church every Sunday, and that he died protecting his family.

Two others are apparently badly injured.
@emiliya Doesn't it seem like this "attack" on Trump is a little too perfect? The shooter is instantly killed, but Trump gets away with a minor "flesh wound" and has a chance to fist-bump while it's happening. For those of you who believe in "rigged elections," doesn't this seem like a "rigged shooting"?

And for those of you who assured us that the Sandy Hook shooting and the Parkland shooting were "crisis actors," how can you believe this shooting is different???

@ElwoodBlues It seems clear from your comment to tallpowerhouseblonde that you believe this was not a "rigged shooting."

You say: "We don't know the shooter's motive - maybe Trump wasn't enough anti-abortion, or not enough pro-gun. Could be lots of reasons why a crazy person aims a gun at a powerful person."

What do you believe? Are you going to be sensible on this matter? It doesn't seem you will be.
@emiliya wonders
What do you believe?
The sensible thing to do is to consider several possibilities and withhold final judgement until all the facts are in. Forming a final belief this early in the process is about the least sensible thing to do.

BTW, how did Comrade Putin's pizda taste today, tovarisch?

@ElwoodBlues Did you adopt this approach after Jan. 6? Do you consider all the possibilities in other matters?

Что касается вашего другого коммента, ты очень странный тип.
@emiliya I adopted that approach when I majored in physics decades ago.
