Should they have sent Bidet out in public immediately after the SOTU when he was exhausted

A kindergarten student could answer that. Of course not. Yet they did. The results have been predictable:
In first post SOTU gaffe Biden calls for Pennsylvania voters to send him….to Congress?
March 9, 2024 | Kevin Haggerty | ShareTweetTruthGettrTelegram

Gaffes galore marked the president’s return to the campaign trail in a SOTU redo that saw him seeking a wholly different office.

Thursday on Capitol Hill, President Joe Biden marked his second largest audience of his State of the Union addresses as many likely tuned in expecting to see a train wreck. Despite displays of rage during his speech, the president appeared to save his slip-ups for the following day.

Proving pundits right after his SOTU had been criticized as little more than a campaign speech, Biden traveled to Wallingford, Pennsylvania Friday where supporters filled the gymnasium of Strath Haven Middle School.

There, the self-identified Catholic president continued his push for abortion as, instead of asking voters to return him to the White House, he sought their support to send him “to Congress.”

“Pennsylvania, I have a message for you: send me to Congress that I can support this right and I promise you — we take back Congress we will restore Roe v. Wade as the law of the land,” he asserted.

As Biden proceeded to muddle his way between whispers and shouts to emphasize his points, he also got caught struggling with his teleprompter while taking aim at firearm manufacturers. Pushing the claim that they were the only industry protected from liability lawsuits, the president made a comparison to tobacco companies as he jumbled, “Imagine if tobacco had the same limitation companies that gun manufacturers!”
In the interest of brevity I have made my point and won’t insert the many others at this point. However please feel free to add your personal favorites in the comments section.

If they pump Biden full of drugs, rehearse him thoroughly, and if he sticks strictly to the teleprompter script, he can still get through a speech, providing he's very well-rested.

But when he goes off script, he botches it right away.

"Illegal" is a big no-no among his woke supporters.

And he botched Laken Riley's name.

And asking how many thousands have been killed by legals was another immense faux pas.
As if Laken Riley's murder was negligible... 🙄
@Thinkerbell Maybe Trump shouldn’t have ordered his lackeys in the Senate to kill the border bill. He has more responsibility for Riley’s death than Biden does.

@LeopoldBloom

Newsflash: Biden didn't need a border bill to stop the illegal invasion; he has the executive power to do it right NOW by himself.

The Courts just ordered Bidet to use the $1.2B he has kept hostage since 2021 on border wall as he was required to by law in 2021. @Thinkerbell
@Thinkerbell Crime and violent crime is rampant among the homeless, shouldn't all homeless be rounded up, put on a boat, taken 30 miles out to sea and dropped off?
@Thinkerbell If a president has executive power to make all decisions, then why even have a congress?
Why are conservatives so in favor of having a dictator?
sladejr · 56-60, M
@independentone What an IQ killer. This entire mess started when he ordered the Border Patrol to let everyone in. So another president coming in tells them to do their jobs is a dictator?

🤡

@independentone

No, we should have DAs that prosecute crimes and put them in jail if the perps are sane, or put them in a mental institution if not.

Either way, the homeless who commit crimes get three squares and a roof over their heads, and the public is spared their depredations.

For the ones that don't commit crimes, vagrancy laws should be re-established, and they should be sent to homeless shelters, or to jail, if they refuse.

It CAN be done, as San Francisco proved (at least for a few days), when they hastily cleaned up the city and got the homeless off the streets for Xi's visit.

@independentone

That executive authority was ALREADY written into law by Congress, who COULD repeal that authority.

Biden CAUSED the massive illegal invasion we have had for the past three years by rescinding the executive orders Trump had in place.

Woke party-liners, almost every one. 🤭

@Thinkerbell

I'd go further and say every one. I've never seen a self proclaimed "center" be anything but woke, nasty party liner

@sladejr Notice how maga people are generally rural, poor, uneducated, lazy and are not very fluent in English?
@sladejr Just to prove you wrong, (I'm sure you are used to that) I don't like Biden any more than I like Trump and I despise Trump, and to stay independent, I will not be voting if the only choices I have are between two old geezers both of whom suffer from advancement dementia

@Thinkerbell How does he do that when the border patrol is understaffed and has a funding shortfall?
Thinkerbell · 41-45, F
@LeopoldBloom

He should have never rescinded Trump's executive orders regarding the border in the first place.
And Biden could send in the National Guard, but instead he has
Garland take Abbott to court for trying to protect the Texas border. 🙄

But of course the present situation is exactly what he (i.e., his handlers) had in mind,
except now that it's getting close to an election. 🙄 🙄
jackjjackson · 61-69, M
The election is causing team Bidet to create some sort of appearance (not actually doing anything) of interest in the border all of a sudden. @Thinkerbell
@Thinkerbell There's still no excuse for the Republicans to refuse additional funding. It gives the impression that they don't actually care about solving the problem and only want it as a campaign slogan. They want to prolong it so Trump can campaign on "Biden didn't fix the border" when in fact he's the one who prevented it from being fixed.
jackjjackson · 61-69, M
You’ve been fooled. Of the proposed $1.2T bill 17% only was planned to go for the border. The dems are the true frauds in this case. Bet you had no clue. @LeopoldBloom
@jackjjackson That's still an improvement over nothing. And since the southern border isn't a war zone, it makes sense that more would go to actual war zones in Israel and Ukraine. You're letting the perfect be the enemy of the good. It would have allowed for the hiring of 1500 additional border patrol agents, over 100 immigration judges, and a lot of equipment.

What you're failing to recognize is that the bill, which was a bipartisan proposal that gave the Republicans everything they wanted, failed because Trump told his lackeys to kill it. So you have to ask, is the border a real problem, or does Trump think it's an artificial one that only exists as a campaign slogan? Every illegal immigrant who crosses the border for the rest of this year will be here because Trump wanted him here.
jackjjackson · 61-69, M
You recited the media left dem narrative. It’s incorrect. Real US citizens want the border fixed. Your ilk do not. @LeopoldBloom
@jackjjackson You're parroting MAGA propaganda. Trump wants the border open to avoid giving Biden a win, prolonging the problem so he can use it as a campaign slogan, and the lickspittle Senate Republicans went along with him. Saying that the bill was killed because it didn't provide enough money for border security isn't taken seriously by anyone. It had bipartisan support until Trump killed it.
