Let's see, USA subsidies to help Canada sell their oil on an international market. Meanwhile we tear up our land and incur environmental risk at what gain to US? It's not like the oil is not already being transported by existing pipelines...
Quimliqer · 70-79, M
@trollslayer Where is the oil in the Keystone XL pipeline going? US refiners you nimrod!!!
trollslayer · 46-50, M
@Quimliqer the refineries owned by foreign countries before the product is exported?
pdqsailor1 · 61-69, M
@trollslayer No the oil is NOT being transported by existing pipelines or at a minimum not in the quantities you need it in... and what is in it for the USA? I think energy security from a very secure neighbour and friend might be a pretty convincing argument.... Sheesh - I have seen short sighted geniuses before but it does not take a degree in rocket science to figure this one out....
pdqsailor1 · 61-69, M
@Quimliqer Yes and for US consumers..
jackjjackson · 61-69, M
There is a lot many to be made between the Canadian border and tanker in the Gulf. The US would no longer be energy dependent on anyone. @trollslayer
jackjjackson · 61-69, M
You’re dealing with a trolling fool. Pay no never mind. @pdqsailor1
trollslayer · 46-50, M
@jackjjackson we aren't energy dependent now.
jackjjackson · 61-69, M
Please post a FACT establishing the US as a net exporter as opposed to a net importer please. @trollslayer

Minimal equal to zero @trollslayer

@jackjjackson 1.9 million barrels = zero?
jackjjackson · 61-69, M
Based on percentages Thats the last vestige of the Trump program. It will revert when 2023 is counted up. @trollslayer
trollslayer · 46-50, M
@jackjjackson keep denying you were wrong.
jackjjackson · 61-69, M
Keep trolling you can’t help yourself. @trollslayer
@trollslayer One of John Kerry's "useful idiots".
@trollslayer It kind of sucks for everyone. Here in Canada we were pressured to stop refining our own oil basically to create American jobs on the Gulf coast.
jackjjackson · 61-69, M
Canada won’t refine oil. It will be piped to the US or China. A commie like you would prefer China correct Pix? @PicturesOfABetterTomorrow
@jackjjackson The reason we don't refine it is because of pressure from Washington. We shut down the refineries in the 70s to essentially subsidize American jobs.

Trudeau Sr was all about doing it ourselves.

In fact we have been pressured into strategic dependence on the US since the 50s.

It is also why defense contracts are just handed over south of the border.
jackjjackson · 61-69, M
You’re a poor pathetic victim boo hoo Pix @PicturesOfABetterTomorrow
@jackjjackson You call me pathetic and yet you are the one who is triggered by any facts that don't fit your Trumpist narrative.
jackjjackson · 61-69, M
Wrong again. The opposite of triggered. I rationally and accurately explain why you are always wrong. @PicturesOfABetterTomorrow
