Instead of letting others here tell me what I think, here are some of MY views on politics, government, the military, the world and some other things.

I’ve finally had it with snarky commenters telling me inaccurately what I think and looking to pick fights rather than think.

HERE GOES:

I am opposed to imperialist sheriffing by the US. Our carriers shouldn’t be randomly floating world wide poised to bomb the hell out of some vastly outweaponed country for non transparent reasons while at the same time being sitting ducks waiting to be sunk by existing sophisticated weaponry. My point is that with technology AND the stealth fighters and bombers the US has developed using old carriers basically as island airstrips easily extended plane range. I see that as a better choice than scrapping or scuttling them now. What type of “world police person” the US is or has been needs to be in the rear view. Between Biden DeSantis Haley and Trump, guess who is most likely to espouse that view? Crazy right. While I did support Trump in 2016 and in fact was a delegate to the RNC convention that nominated him, he is way far away in my rear view. If I had to choose among the four, I’d pick Haley despite her hawkish pronouncements and hope it’s tough talking to distinguish herself from the field only. DeSantis is a Trump wannabe and too much of a wuss to openly disagree with him. Trump’s baggage disqualifies him as does his age and basically way out of shape unhealthy appearance. A walking heart attack. Biden is even older. We see weekly the RIGHT NOW Biden is a doddering old fool. Time will make that even worse if possible. You may had read previously my opinion that a candidate should be no more than 60 on the day the first term oath is taken. It’s not a disqualifier for running for reelection if the first requirement is met. At most out of office at 68. Biden’s appearance and action validate the he’s too old argument. Even RFK, Jr. is too old as is Cornell West. I would seriously consider either if they were ten years younger. There is a reason that presidents appear to have aged 20 years after being in office for 8. It’s a grueling job. The only three recent presidents meeting my age requirement are BO, WJC and GWB. While disagreeing with some policies of all three, history so far has been kind to all of them and their standing among presidents will only increase as time goes by. Maybe in the future medical advances my change my age criteria because historically people with money and sense age better and better every decade. We should be ashamed of ourselves for having two such horrible frontrunners both of whom we have seen in action and have failed us. At least the republicans are on the right track age wise. The democrats irresponsibly do not have a VP in office capable of being president. Had they not failed us we would have three qualified candidates. The hypothetical VP who isn’t, DeSantis and Haley. I’d be pleased with any election outcome among them regardless of the winner and hope the nominees make sensible VP selections. I guess I’ve rambled a bit here however I’m sick and tired of being inaccurately labeled a Trump sycophant when that is patently false. Had we had any sense we would have learned from Korea and used our citizens and treasure more wisely. Not VietNam, no Ukraine, no Middle East, no lesser known blunders, a better Iran. When you think about it if Iran was India like in world approach the world would be a better place. Maybe Putin will die soon either from age, bad lifestyle or murdered and fresh ideas will flourish in Russia. Fortunately currently lined up to defend us from China’s unknown plans, a team of the US, India, Canada, the Uk, the EU and others will keep China at bay for awhile. Let’s keep Trump and Biden out of the WH and begin to understand the 21st century.

No.
Jack. Say it isn't so. Say this is just a joke.
Yeah.. Aprils fools right Jack.
My heart is aching in a strange way right now.
I have always liked your political views and your style in delivering punch after counter punch with these extreme left leaning and insult throwing brow beaters.
I actually took a lot of ques from your incites over the years.
I'm not very academically savvy and most political topics get way over my head in a very short time so I found myself kind of following your lead and have grown to trust your direction as being well thought out and investigated but most importantly understood.

Now I have to say I have stopped even trying to follow politics for the most part for the last few years any more because it has all become badly choreographed spin. I mean they don't even try to make it sound plausible any more. They don't attempt to hide their Marylin Monroe's.

I pretty much figured Trump was off the table any more because of the nonstop drama being generated in failed attempt after failed attempts to discredit him. Drag his name through the mud. People for the most part avoid drama as a natural defense mechanism. So the left succeeded in eliminating him from possibility using a very simple marketing strategy. Sad. Gorilla politics.
I have friends that are still 100% Trump 2024 and I was telling them it wouldn't happen.
But I did a factory reset on my C: drive a few weeks ago and lost all my FireFox add blockers and Facebook cage and what not that I had been collecting for years.
So now I am seeing a lot of stuff on Facebook that I never saw before. Most of that stuff is political.
It is looking like there are fence jumpers in the droves regretting their Biden vote and are now wanting Trump back even with his ego. A lot of people investigating Bidens cronies and all the crap they have been getting away with. I mean like legal investigations.

I think Trump is the only one we know has the best chance at setting things right with concise accuracy and in a timely fashion. All the other possibilities are essentially untested and at this point in the game, a wild gamble. We saw what Trump can do. We need someone who can fix things the first time and move on.
Are you sure you don't think Trump is our best chance?

If he wins as far as I’m concerned he’s on probation and a short leash. He has a chance to do what he promised in 2016. A nagging question is why didn’t he do it then and why are all those rotten to the core “civil servants” including those in the DOJ and FBI still around doing the bidding of Biden’s top secret backers. Thanks for the kind words BTW. I try to get facts and give them thought and compare that to what I see and am being told by the media. It rarely adds up. Why? @Dainbramadge
Dainbramadge · 56-60, M
@jackjjackson I'm not sure what the question is. Sorry.

What is true and what the media and politicians tell us. @Dainbramadge

@jackjjackson Oh yeah. Dude I actually am taking a dosage of medication that has me a bit hyper.
I wrote and rewrote that comment like three times.
I may have deleted the part where I talked about the sad spin that they have been doing.
I mean dude they aren't even trying to make a convincing story that could at least generate a bit of doubt.
The press secretary comes out and tells everyone how wonderful the economy is and you can have a Thanksgiving meal for a family of ten for $46 this year. And they act like that is a true statement.
Things have been turning around with media pretty drastically recently.
I mean Tucker is out on his own and he seems to have a pretty solid grip on the big picture and he is more readily available on multiple platforms. God I see him all over the place and he is spreading the good word.
Elon took twitter off the misinformation machine.
They have all kinds of committees investigating so many crazy things that have been happening.
We got a house speaker that released 40,000 hours of J6 footage to the public. Texas AG suing one of the Covid vax companies. All kinds of people trying to get the Epstein flight logs released.

Like I said I gave up following and trying to make sense of politics a bit ago. I just catch blurbs here and there on line. I haven't trusted mainstream media in a very long time.

So. I hope that wasn't to far off track.
But ... what ever Biden's press secretary says is low grade weak attempted spin.
Like when Biden shut down the pipeline and said it only put 1,100 people out of work who were all qualified to go directly into wind and solar and get more money when in fact he put 10,400 people out of work. they only counted the 1,100 full time employees. Not the rest that were seasonal employees that were pulling down around $70,000 a year seasonal.
So most mainstream media is all spin and false.
The online private guys are for the most part pretty solid and I say that not because they tell me what I want to hear but they make sense.

Wow. You are really up on current events. It’s amazing how ONE thing in this case the Keystone XL pipeline will CHANGE the country. And for the BETTER! @Dainbramadge
Dainbramadge · 56-60, M
@jackjjackson You know it's kind of funny about the current events thing. I normally don't get much updates on my own. Like I said I kind gave up on it for the most part. But I did that factory reset and now Facebook is flooding me with information from a billion different sources. So every morning it's like having all current events rammed into my head in 20 minutes. LOL. And of all places to receive information like this ... Facebook???? LOL
