will amazon survive this scandal

i just saw this headline by forbes news '' Feds File Landmark Suit Against Amazon For Protecting Online Retail Monopoly ''

i shop at amazon online a lot, and are concerned about this, i wouldn't want amazon to be put out of business...can amazon survive this?

I don't see Amazon as a monopoly though. They don't just offer their products online, but other online retailers can sell their products on the Amazon platform.

But there's no doubt it's a conglomerate in all but name

@calicuz I think a part of it is that Amazon requires their sellers to use their infrastructure and was pushing to not allow them to sell on other platforms for less. So that drives up prices for Amazon customers. They also made it harder for consumers to find the retailers with lower prices - particularly those working in the same products as the Amazon brands.
