@jackjjackson I mean, he won't turn down the nomination, but he's the current flavor of the month. A percentage of Republicans are desperate for someone other than Trump, and right now Ramaswamy is benefitting from the people who have decided that they don't like DeSantis. We saw this in 2016, when Trump stayed in front and second place cycled among the other candidates.
The only way Trump won't be the nominee is if he dies or drops out. If he's convicted by the time the convention rolls around, I don't think the RNC has the balls to take the nomination away from him as that would destroy the party.
