They already are fleeing, just visited a friend in Texas, what used to be a farm across the street is now McMansions purchased by people from California.
@jackjjackson I dont want to live in Texas.. The weather sucks summer and winter and the power grid is unreliable. I hear the people are nice enough. Its just the white ones you have to watch...😷
@whowasthatmaskedman It is hot in July and August, but there are very few days where temps dip below the 40s in the winter. I rode my motorcycle year round in Texas for 12 years. No state income tax, low property taxes. I live in the northeast now, it costs me $10K a year in taxes that I would be able to keep in my pocket in Texas. I don't know about having to watch the "white people", my neighborhood had a pretty diverse mix, there wasn't really a racial component to living in Texas. Most Texans do have a prejudice, it doesn't really matter what color they are, they all dislike yankees.
Can’t blame them for that lol. I’m in the northeast myself and pay a LOT of tax and encounter way too many far far left liberals daily. Fortunately for me I refuse to acknowledge that a subject known as politics exists in real life. @Roadsterrider
@Roadsterrider Interesting and well said..A couple of small points. If there is no racial component to living in Texas, exactly what is the government on about? (If you are correct he seems to be stirring an issue for political gain..) And everything is relative.. For instance, did you know that outside of the US, where the other eight billion people live, a "Yankee" is any American at all?😷
