Time to start wall building in FL, TX, MT, ID, VT, WY, SC, SD, ND, KS and others. Canada should too if they are smart

Dems will soon be fleeing states they’ve trashed. Exactly like cockroaches.

Political discourse seems to have succumb to nothing more than a trans debate.

Like there are other and real issues that could be discussed but conservatives have nothing to offer so they just instrumentalise an existing bias to fuel what is called "culture war". Aren't you tired of this? Don't you think there are other topics?

Also dehumanizing people reminds me of a dark period in history I assume you don't want to recreate.

Why are businesses in big cities closing? Why are there empty office buildings? That’s about economics is it not? @Gloomy
SumKindaMunster · 51-55, M
@Gloomy Hm, and blame the Billionaires who purposefully astro turfed the issue. It wasn't an organic movement no matter how much you tell yourself otherwise.

Who is their Rosa Parks?
Where is their Stonewall riots?

They don't exist because this was a movement that came from the top down.

Most likely do divert attention away from the "asylum" seekers at the open southern border.
And to divert attention from DAs who won't enforce laws in certain selected cases.

@SumKindaMunster LGBTQ movement had the Stonewall Riots you even brought it up yourself
SumKindaMunster · 51-55, M
@Gloomy There was no "T" in the movement when the Stonewall riots occurred. Had nothing to do with transgenders. Other than the encroachment of transgenders into women's sports, this has been a Corporate sponsored Billionaire movement.
Gloomy · F
@SumKindaMunster Yeah just ignore activists like Sylvia Rivera and the gender debates and activism of the time...

Transgender in womens sports is such a niche and non - issue and you just prove my point that you guys are hell bent on sticking to this topic.
SumKindaMunster · 51-55, M
@Gloomy It's the topic of the post. You chose to respond to it too. It's being reacted to precisely because it is an astro-turfed movement. People know it, and are reacting accordingly. Don't be mad because you and others have been constantly making this an issue and there is now a backlash.

If the press and Hollywood stopped making it an issue, there wouldn't be a reaction to it.

It's hilarious to me that you are sore because there is a backlash to a fake movement that you yourself constantly promote.

You really live in a bubble.

Thanks for making me aware of the transgender person involved in the Stonewall uprising. Couldn't help but note it was published in 2021.

@jackjjackson Employers figured out that they don't need people to come into the office anymore. That was going to happen eventually; COVID just accelerated it.
@SumKindaMunster There are trans activists, you just haven't heard of them.

Three guesses which "billionaire" you think is behind this, and the first two don't count.
jackjjackson · 61-69, M
The articles I’ve read state that employees fear for their safety as do shoppers. @LeopoldBloom
@jackjjackson Wait, I thought we were talking about empty offices. Now you've switched to anti-trans bigots threatening people.
jackjjackson · 61-69, M
Not me. Y’all brought that up. I compared dems to cockroaches. Aptly. @LeopoldBloom
@jackjjackson Thank you, Adolf. You're in good company comparing people you disagree with to vermin. That makes it easier when you move on to the next step of killing them.
jackjjackson · 61-69, M
I simply don’t care for extremely liberal dems. It’s what is commonly known as an opinion. @LeopoldBloom
@jackjjackson "Not agreeing with" is not the same as "considering them vermin that must be exterminated." The Rwanda genocide began with Hutus on the radio calling Tutsi "cockroaches." Your intentions are clear even if you're backpedaling now with "oh, but I'm just expressing a different opinion."

I would be very surprised if we don't experience widespread stochastic violence in the lead-up to the election, even if Traitor Tot is out of the picture.
jackjjackson · 61-69, M
Occasionally I’m required to correct non facts that you might wish are facts but just plain are not. The current trouble in the US has been extremists on both sides and media reporting non facts as pretend facts. Those extremists may well make things worse. Are you one of them? @LeopoldBloom
@jackjjackson The Overton Window has moved so far to the right, anyone to the left of Ronald Reagan is a liberal extremist. You people drummed Liz effing Cheney out of the GOP. You literally can't get further right wing than the Cheneys, at least, it used to be like that. Now "conservatism" includes threatening doctors with prison time if they try to save a woman's life while she's dying in childbirth, and harassing trans kids.

I would say that opinions replace facts on both sides, but the right wing has moved further right than the left wing has moved left, to the point that a centrist like Joe Biden is viewed as a liberal.
jackjjackson · 61-69, M
The old Joe Biden was a moderate for decades. The current one is an imbecilic puppet of the extreme left. @LeopoldBloom
@jackjjackson You can knock off the "Biden is senile" crap. He handled himself pretty well during the State of the Union address.

If Biden was a "puppet of the extreme left," we'd be seeing things like student loan forgiveness, action on climate change, and abortions on military bases in red states. Biden is still a centrist.
Thinkerbell · 41-45, F
@LeopoldBloom

Biden stayed STRICTLY on script in the State of the Union address.
And he probably had been rehearsed by his handlers for weeks beforehand. 🤭

This is what happens when he strays from the script:

Why did he say “God bless the Queen”? @LeopoldBloom
jackjjackson · 61-69, M
Angola? @Thinkerbell
@Thinkerbell I was referring to his ad-libbing when the Republicans were yelling at him. That wasn't scripted unless you think those Republicans were in on it.
@jackjjackson It's just a weird way to end a speech, like "great Caesar's ghost" or "holy fishhooks, Batman." If your theory is that Biden thinks he's British and isn't aware that Queen Elizabeth died, go right ahead. At least Biden doesn't think he can redirect hurricanes with a Sharpie.
