RFK, Jr. 2024 Presidential run eerily similar to his Pop in 1968

Like his uncle JFK and his Pop RFK, RFK, Jr. Is running against the cooperative control by government and business of the American public. The merger of business and government abetted by the media has brought our fantastic republic to the brink of extinction. Dwight David Eisenhower’s warning against the dangers of the plotting of the military industrial complex has been proven righter than right. RFK, Jr. May be just the right man at the right time to save out beautiful republic. Join his quest. Support his vision. Put him in the White House.

We are done with kennedys

You prefer Biden? @MasterLee

@jackjjackson as a dementia patient?
jackjjackson · 61-69, M
So far he is the first one with a good shot to get rid of Biden AND he may well do us a lot of good. @MasterLee
carpediem · 61-69, M
He’s probably the best candidate to appeal to the centrist democrats. Only one problem. The term “Centrist Democrat” is an oxymoron.

@Theyitis you must find it hilariously difficult to explain things like french pension riots, italy's new "daughter of mussolini" prime minister, belgiums prime minister, the present rush by several scandinavian nations to join NATO, South Korea's government, UK's conservative party PM Rishi Sunak . . .
jackjjackson · 61-69, M
That is a hot mess for sure. @SusanInFlorida

@SusanInFlorida Right wing populism is on the rise just about everywhere right now, but still, some places are worse than others and the US is the worst “developed country” if you still consider it one. In all the countries you listed single payer healthcare is taken for granted and non-controversial, whereas here the Democrats were too afraid to fight for it. All of those countries have common sense gun laws and a single digit number of mass shootings per year. The middle class (which actually exists in those countries) are not considered lazy or entitled there because they have the time and money to travel the world in their twenties, whereas in the US we’re lucky if we’re able to travel after we retire and would never think of it before then. Cities in the other countries are built compactly enough that most people can afford to take public transit or even walk from place to place, they don’t need cars. Need more examples than that?

The difference is you already have people in his own party calling him a wacko
jackjjackson · 61-69, M
They are shakin in their boots scared. Name calling is to be expected. This is a war for the survival of our republic. @eli1601

43 suspected mistresses found in RFK Jr.’s phone

For everybody who thinks RFK Jr. is just a wonderful trustworthy fella....
jackjjackson · 61-69, M
I’m not familiar with any baggage free candidates. Are you? @therighttothink50

The Kennedys and their name have been watered-down. He sees Biden as vulnerable so he's taking a shot. I don't believe he's got the juice for this.
SusanInFlorida · 31-35, F
I thought he was running against "madatory covid vaccinations". That's all he ever talks about. And oh yes - he had a bunch of photo ops with "former Venezuelan strongman Hugo Chavez"
SusanInFlorida · 31-35, F
@jackjjackson I don't think Tim Scott will be the GOP nominee. That said, Republicans HAVE had a bizarre attraction to presidential candidates of color. Remember the pizza CEO?

Democrats won't even have primaries, unless Biden withdraws. This is how it works. The party in the white house uses all available means to suppress primary challenges/debates against a sitting president. They play games with the filing dates. The signature requirements. The campaign disclosure forms. on and on. That's not to say I'm positive there WONT be a primary. But obviously if there isn't one, RFK jr. gets zero primary votes by definition.

If Biden DOES withdraw, then "most available democract bigshots" will coalesce immediately around Harris and Newsom. Or Michelle Obama, if the rumors turn out to be true. She won't challenge a sitting president, however.

Other declared and undeclared 2024 democrat candidates include:

Marianne Williamson
Some guy named Joe Siegel
Joe Exotic - the tiger zoo owner behind bars for attempted murder
Joe Manchin - senior senator from West Virginia
Senator and former astronaut Mark Kelly
. . . and at least 5 more

If there are primaries, I'd guess Mark Kelly is more likely to get at least one vote than RFK junior. Unless it's revealed that Mark Kelly was arrested for heroin use, the way junior was.
jackjjackson · 61-69, M
You seem to be a hater. The dem bigwigs will force Biden out aka pay him because he’s most likely to lose. @SusanInFlorida

Nope, not gonna happen!
jackjjackson · 61-69, M
The focus is on who is most likely to beat Biden like a drum whether in the primary or the general. @TexChik
TexChik · F
@jackjjackson But in reality they also have to face off against a lying propagandist media attacking them 24/7. Most Republicans are corrupt pussies, if not we wouldn't be having this crisis.
jackjjackson · 61-69, M
First Eisenhower and then JFK realized the danger of the amalgam of government and business and media. Just like that deadly combination existed and thrived early on in Nazi Germany and is on the precipice of succeeding under the current groups of enterprising Fascists. RFK, Jr. Is literally risking his life attempting to stop them. @TexChik
MarineBob · 56-60, M
DOJ doesn't think he should run
jackjjackson · 61-69, M
All the more reason he should then. As if we trust the DOJ. They have been bought and paid for by folks we do not like. @MarineBob
I thought JFK Jr. died in a plane crash.

Oh, yeah. That's who we need. A conspiracy crackhead who thinks COVID-19 was invented by the Jewish space lizards.
jackjjackson · 61-69, M
Surprised to see you’re having a reasoned discussion. @LordShadowfire
@jackjjackson I always have intelligent things to say. You just get put on the defensive by most of them.
jackjjackson · 61-69, M
The vast majority are nonsense like this. @LordShadowfire
