To all the veterans who have fought for good causes... Ernie

1200 peaceful environmental protesters determined to occupy a nuclear construction site - undeterred by the tear gas, water cannon and billy clubs that awaited them. This day it was a 'take no prisoners' confrontation because the 1414 protesters recently arrested had overwhelmed the New Hampshire justice system and there was no more room in the jails or national guard armories to hold them. Peaceful would imply they stayed outside the construction area, they weren’t peaceful.

@Quimliqer Non-violent direct action - occupation of the site.

@Quimliqer No, of course not. And if someone comes to your town meeting with incentive to bring radioactive waste to your town and your town votes it down three times at a town meeting, one of the purest forms of democracy, and it's forced upon the townspeople anyway, it's okay?

@GrinNude Are they dumping the nuclear waste in town, or under the regulation of the government are they having to transport it to an approved disposal site?
