Do you have a clue? Obviously not. Let's take SNAP, the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program. People who qualify get an EBT card to help feed themselves and/or their children. The qualifications for the program vary state by state, but in the state I live in, a family of 3 cannot make more (take home pay) than $1920 a month which equates to working a 40 hour work week at not more than $11.42 per hour. So, let's take a single parent family with two children. Do you have any idea what it costs just to rent a small apartment each month, buy, maintain and put fuel in a car so the parent can get to work, cloth and get kids to school, pay for after school care (so the parent can work) and the myriad other expenses a parent faces and still buy food for their children? Yeah, that $1920 doesn't cover it and most that apply for and are given SNAP and an EBT card, don't come close to making $11.43 per hour.
Calling them moochers is abhorrent and you are a complete ass for doing so.
