Do you have a Doctor who only spends 5 minutes with you?

My Doctor spends 3 to 5 minutes in the room with me. As my problems have gotten progressively worse she will say, I'm not worried and walk out the door.
I waited 3 mths for an appointment with a new doctor today and was left in the waiting room with people with no appointment. One man was told the wait time was 2 hours. I waited 45 minutes and left. This was a good indication to me how I would be treated at this Medical Clinic. Would you have waited 3 months and then walked out? Do you think the receptionist even cared that I walked out, do you think she will even tell the doctor why I walked out or is it easier for her to say nothing at all.

Money is all that matters in the American Healthcare industry. I couldn't afford to go to a doctor even if I was dying.

They have so many patients now they can't spend a lot of time with them like they used to.
@Lilymoon More like, the more people they can get through the revolving door the more money they make.
I did have a doctor like that. Moreover, when I asked about concerns that had come up since I’d made the appointment, she replied, "make another appointment and we’ll discuss that." No, thank you. I put in a request for another doctor and looked seriously at her patient reviews (which I’ve since started doing with all of them). Had I done it initially, she would never have been my doctor. She was eventually asked to leave that practice.

I would definitely be shopping around for a new primary.
@LordShadowfire It's unbelievably difficult. You can go to a new doctor but they look your record up and won't contradict what the last guy said. If it can't be seen on a blood test or ultrasound there's nothing wrong.

@Pitchblue Have you tried a naturopath?
@LordShadowfire Don't have the money to pay for one.

Moreover, regardless of how much time they actually spend with you, how much time do they bill Medicare for (these figures may be different)?

And even though you know it's fraud, do you feel trapped with your current doctor because of a situation like being a chronic pain patient, when it is next to impossible to find a doctor who will prescribe the opioids you legitimately need and have taken for 15 years without incident (because the CDC f-cked up in 2016)
@SW-User I do have Chronic conditions and there's no way doctors will prescribe opioids. I do feel trapped with the doctor I have. I hate the fact that I waited 3 months for another clinic to dismiss me. Not even Doctors feel an obligation to help anymore.
