Is Google supposed to be regulated like a public utility? Like, legally?

If rules applied to the giants who control us and who control our laws, would Google be public utility we've failed to regulate?

@scrood Google is nothing to do with the government. It is a 100% private company founded by two math geniuses who saw an opening in the burgeoning internet market for paid searches. They quickly capitalized on the concept of giving users who paid more money more preference on having their searches show up more often in a users search preferences.

@scrood no one in the govt has the brains to create a company like Google but plenty of people in the private sector do. That’s how Google got created. Two maths brainiacs at Stanford had an idea…
