Americans. don't know who they are!?

Earlier this year, YouGov asked Americans to estimate what percentage of American adults fall under a certain identity group. On average, respondents assumed that
30% of Americans are Jewish,

27% are Muslim

21% are transgender and

20% earn more than a million dollars a year.

In reality, each of those groups account for
less than 2% of the population.
YouGov is an international research data and analytics group.

Why is transgender its own category like Muslim and Jewish Transgenders don't exist?
They make it sound like an entirely new religion lol

@HijabaDabbaDoo im transgender.. but im a total agnostic.. we are all different. Plus i am really not part of the trans community. I have always done my own thing.

@Chelsiegirl important? I think more interesting. that so many mis-estimate the makeup of our country and that may be driving some of the hostility so many experience. I did not make these categories I am sure many other categories are left out as well @HijabaDabbaDoo
note the red ones are as actually exist,( census data) where the blue ones are what people think is true
