I'm not entirely against the idea of tuition assistance from taxpayers...

It's just that I think throwing handouts like Oprah proclaiming with a royal-like attitude, "And you get a car, and you get a car, and you get one..." doesn't address the root cause problem of tuition hikes that defy reasonableness.
