I think you are on to it. Since China controls all the computer chips and has access to our power generation it could easily kill our power. What really amazes me here in South Dakota all of our electricity came from multiple dams on the Missouri River and some from what were coal fired generators in Minnesota that were turned over to natural gas.
But we have been having some power blackouts at times and have been warned that there might be more as we are now relying on wind generation for much of our power. We still have hydro production going on at the dams but for some reason that power is going someplace outside of our state. The natural gas generators are still going in MN but that power is also going somewhere else now and nobody knows or will not tell. Like you, I think we are in serious trouble and being screwed with and lied to by our socialist / globalist controlled government.

Frightening. @acpguy

I think Russia has proven that it is not a super power, won't last 24 hours against the west if they attacked a Nato country, or is capable of anything besides creeping back over the original border and prepping to get charged for all the damage they caused. Russia is joke.

maybe if you are right and it comes to the day where putin crosses that red line and it comes to hey boy hey the americans would have too take on putin more directly even a full blown conflict but god forbid it comes to that. but are you being speculating into the future of the world order. you are basically saying putin could be the new hitler and again reek havoc in europe on what basis and intelligence [jackjjackson]

@jackjjackson Ignoring, of course, Trump’s release of 5000 Taliban.

Yep, reverting to type. When your boy gets caught RED handed committing treason, deflect to the RED bogeyman (hey, newsflash, the colour of the Repug party is also RED. Coincidence?).
🤣🤣🤣

What is this same stuff that inundates you? @room101

@jackjjackson I'm not really sure how to answer that without sounding like a pedantic moaner.
The quality is superb. Vegetables, fruit, meat, fish all of it. Super fresh, naturally organic (it's just how they farm here) and packed full of real flavour ie no additives to enhance flavour because the produce has been stored and processed to oblivion.
For me, it's not about being inundated with something, it's about (as I said) the lack of variety. Here's an example that may answer your question. Spain has a national cheese called Manchego. Go into any supermarket and you will find dozens of varieties of Manchego. BUT, try to get another world renowned cheese and you're lucky if you get one variety/brand. Also, Spain is credited as being the pork capital of Europe. Good Iberico ham is something else. However, I've been here for nearly three years and I'm yet to find a single rasher of bacon. Yeah, they've got stuff that they call bacon but, trust me, it's NOT BACON! And forget trying to find a decent pork chop or a pork loin steak. My local butcher thinks that I'm a raving lunatic every time I tell him how I want my loin steak sliced off the main slab of meat. Same thing happens with beef steak.
I better stop because this feels like a rant hahahaha

You’re making tons of sense and illustrated the situation with flair. I get it. Fortunately the problem doesn’t exist here. I just have the last of what we’re clearly the best cantelope I’ve ever had. These things weee the size of rugby balls. They were deliciously naturally sweet and the texture was perfect. I hope my wife gets more. They came from a reasonably nearby farm. I personally likely ate 3/4 of it. Don’t even feel guilty it was that good. @room101

Russia won’t get past Ukraine. NATO forces will make sure that doesn’t happen and pacific rim countries will make sure that China doesn’t expand too far either.
justanothername · 51-55, M
@jackjjackson They can’t do any until Russia attacks a NATO member country.
jackjjackson · 61-69, M
Then we find out. @justanothername

@jackjjackson Russia is struggling on Ukraine against civilian soldiers. They will find it harder against trained solders supported by proper logistics and modern artillery.
jackjjackson · 61-69, M
That’s quaint. You still think it’s 1910.

Russia, China, Turkey and other tyrannies are friends today, and enemies tomorrow. Erdogan and his buddy Putin were on the brink of war some years ago.

At this point I think only thr first two matter Helen. @helenS
