What do you think - Doomsday Clock and UN Secretary General's' speech?

Doomsday Clock: A hypothetical global catastrophe is represented by midnight on the clock, with the Bulletin's opinion on how close the world is to one represented by a certain number of minutes or seconds to midnight, assessed in January of each year. The main factors influencing the clock are nuclear risk and climate change. Since 2020 it has been at 100 seconds, just 1 minute and 40 seconds before midnight.

U.N. Secretary-General Antonio Guterres warned Monday that “humanity is just one misunderstanding, one miscalculation away from nuclear annihilation.”

What are your thoughts? Are we really teetering on the edge of annihilation?

We have been one miscalculation or misunderstanding away from that possibility since the 70's

@istillhaveanameitsrick that's kind of where I am, at least for it being a nuclear caused annilation. I nor can anyone know about a natural disaster like volcanos. I do think we need to be aware, but these clocks and warnings... too much like the boy who cried wolf.
