Is with a gun. Not everyone should carry one but if you train with and are proficient with a firearm you are a rare asset and can keep a bad situation from getting worse. I’m saddened by the loss of the 3 victims that lost their lives in a brutal and unnecessary way as well as the 2 other victims that were injured but I’m glad that a “good guy with a gun” was present aware and able to make the right decision. 40yds+ inside a mall filled with people is far from an easy decision for anyone to make but it’s fortunate that he could keep this from a mass casualty event. 8 well placed shots.
