Taking a life defensively is never a pleasant thing. But this fellow most likely spared many others from certain death or severe injury. Yet, the anti gun folks got tweaked because he was called a hero. I think they are subconsciously pissed off because people of common sense are correct… a good man (or woman) with a gun can neutralize a bad man with a gun quickly and effectively. Interesting how some mall management rep praised him while at the same time acknowledging he violated policy. Which I assume meant he violated a “gun free zone” policy. Gee, amazing thing… the perp ignored the policy as well. But thanks to the armed good guy he was dropped in his tracks.
