Ted Cruz Fighting With Sesame Street, Again...

Elmo, one of the Sesame Street muppets, got his Covid vaccination. Elmo has been 3.5 Years old, since 1984.

Ted Cruz shared the clip on Twitter — and blasted the popular PBS/HBO children’s show for allowing Elmo to “aggressively advocate for vaccinating children UNDER 5.” He added: “You cite ZERO scientific evidence for this.”

This isn’t the first time Cruz has had a run-in with a high-profile Sesame Street star. He criticized Big Bird last year, when the yellow-feathered creature got his coronavirus shot.

@Zaphod42 IKR? It's not like he takes a vacation when Texas is dealing with things like power outage lasting weeks, during one of the state's coldest winters.

@Zaphod42 He may be wrong on this issue, but overall SEN Cruz is a very good senator. It’s not like the latest science doesn’t show that vaccination is not nearly as important for kids, where it might do unknown damage, than it is for older adults.

@SW-User What latest science? As to vaccination it being important to kids, you may want to check out the list of mandatory vaccinations already in place for Texas schools.
