Well you already can be forced to pay for childcare, but the court has to order a paternity test. Not that that comes remotely close to remedying the problem or anything...

I know here if they get any kind of government assistance they will open a case for child support from the non-custiodial parent. If they are taking care of their child anyway, I don't see a need to make them pay. DNA tests could be helpful in some situations. If the government wants to pay for that, go for it. I don't think they do.
I think government should stay out of most things unless there is a disagreement and then people can make their own decisions.

Laws currently on the books arent working or being properly enforced, so why make more laws? Besides, women seem to forget they have the right to use birth control.
@CuriousCutie They have the right to use birthcontrol for now.

If this is about R vs W, I'd suggest voters start voting for people who will pass the laws they want - such as access to abortion or gun control.

There already is that but how many poor women will hire lawyers?

I get what you're saying in terms of men having a right to elect representatives that can enact legislation to restrict abortions
And that views on abortion between men and women don't completely overlap
But I really don't for the life of me get how we end up with laws apparently not supported by the majority of men or women across any number of issues
