This grandmother is being charged with murder of her 3-year old granddaughter. Police were called to the residence due to suspicions of neighbors. They did a search and found the body of the little girl in the trash cart, she had been dead several days. Her body had signs of trauma.

@4meAndyou How she got custody of the children is what I want to know. The DHS in this state does the crappiest things. There are children who are removed from the home by the DHS and the grandparents aren’t even considered for custody, good & decent people and the children get shuffled around or adopted out, most likely trafficked. I know someone who went though this and she found her daughter after she grew up…the DHS adopted her baby out to a family who moved to Texas. Then the adopted father sexually abused her. And then there are children who get sent to stay with a grandparent like this. I wonder if they even did follow-ups or home studies with her? I did a court check and she was evicted from an apartment in my city in October so apparently struggling to pay bills.
