@Coffeequilt The problem the OP is raising is that Fox was simply ignoring a huge actual news story because it portrays their..."hero"...in a poor light.
This is dishonest from a reporting perspective, but, in this case, where even a Republican-appointed fmr Federal judge (Judge Luttig, who is accorded tremendous respect in conservative circles) said that [b]Trump and his allies and supporters *still* represent "a clear and present danger to American democracy,"[/b] ignoring the hearings is fiddling while Rome burns.?
For Fox to have initially been blind to the import of these hearings is a giving up of the prerogatives of a free press...
But, in our current crisis...it is unconscionable.
