@Coffeequilt The problem the OP is raising is that Fox was simply ignoring a huge actual news story because it portrays their..."hero"...in a poor light.

This is dishonest from a reporting perspective, but, in this case, where even a Republican-appointed fmr Federal judge (Judge Luttig, who is accorded tremendous respect in conservative circles) said that Trump and his allies and supporters *still* represent "a clear and present danger to American democracy," ignoring the hearings is fiddling while Rome burns.?

For Fox to have initially been blind to the import of these hearings is a giving up of the prerogatives of a free press...

But, in our current crisis...it is unconscionable.
