So The Uvalde shooter, Salvador Ramos, was bullied in school.

This is sad. Another senseless tragedy because people were mean to someone for no reason. The article says he was bullied because he was poor.

Maybe his act was a cry for help that can show us that starting in elementary school, people need to watch out for others getting bullied.

eta- i am not justifying his actions or making excuses for him. i am merely trying to make sense of a senseless act

Bullying is never a good enough reason to take a gun and enough ammunition to kill everyone in the school . It was senseless . Some say he was bullied for being poor I don’t think he was very poor if he could buy all that stuff . I don’t know and we will never know why he did this but the blame is on him in my opinion. In schools today we teach the kids are never wrong ( they just see things differently) .

@Repete i am not justifying his actions but trying to understand why he would do such a thing. not saying its good reason for christs sake

I didn’t say you said that I did say that was my opinion.
I agree with some of what you are saying , bullying should never be acceptable but also disagreeing with someone is not bullying. I have stood up to bullies for someone else before also that’s great that you have.@Penny
You clearly don't know what it's like to be bullied. @Repete

That is the biggest joke I’ve heard in a long time you must be practicing to become a comedian. I was bullied for many years because of the clothes I wore , where I lived, how much I didn’t have. I was bullied but I didn’t even think of going to get a gun because I also knew if I did I was going to get it when I got home.@Spoiledbrat
Well these gunman are clearly ready to give up their lives for payback and you my friend aren't everyone. Everyone reacts to being bullied differently. @Repete
You act like because you wouldn't do something no one else will either. Everyone has a different self esteem family and thought process. @Repete
Some of these shooters have behavioral issues as well. @Repete

You are right and they need to be taken care of partly by not letting them get anywhere near a gun. And I said partly and I’m not going to say any more.@Spoiledbrat

@Spoiledbrat pay back to who all these kids I’m sure they all was bullies.
I really don't know. I only gloss over the cases. I assume they had some kind of vendetta. @Repete

@Spoiledbrat you also used the wrong word gunman. Not much of a man in my opinion.

If he was 18 how on earth can 10 year olds be his vendetta @Spoiledbrat
I've asked myself that same question. @Repete

@Repete He killed those kids because they represented his tormentors when he was a student at that school. If you notice, the victims were all smart kids and he was on the dumb side. So, he made a vow when he was a kid there that he would come back one day and get even with them. In his mind, they were just like the kids who had bullied him.

You see that scenario all the time in old western movies, where the White people hate the Indians for incidents that happened a long time ago. So, the Whites take it out on the Indians who had nothing to do with the earlier incidents. All the see is people they hate, even if they had never done anything to them. That is what motivated the shooter.
That's what happens when feelings get out of control. When someone feels like crap long enough. @Diotrephes
