So The Uvalde shooter, Salvador Ramos, was bullied in school.

I think that’s why we need to focus on the root causes of violence

Gun control would help and I'm not against it, that some unstable person can’t just grab a semi auto rifle on a whim, but it wont eliminate the violence going on in the united states
The guns aren’t causing people to become violent

Personal possession of firearms is still legal in a lot of countries
But they don’t have the degree of violence like the unites states

I doubt it would even be possible for the government to get control of all the weapons floating around in the US

And even if they could, There’s other ways to kill lots people, get a car and run a bunch of people over, build a makeshift bomb, stab a bunch of people

Honestly I think a big step in the right direction is just to be more compassionate to others
If a kid isn’t fitting in or talking to anyone, just take the time to talk to him or her and try to include them
Instead of just mocking them or calling them a creep or whatever
Or just don't be so judgemental of people and be willing to listen to their views
Just some examples I could think of

It’s always easy to just sit back and demand the government fix everything that’s wrong with society
But I think we can do a lot to change things
I have to work on being more compassionate myself and taking more time for other people
So I get it
