So The Uvalde shooter, Salvador Ramos, was bullied in school.

This is sad. Another senseless tragedy because people were mean to someone for no reason. The article says he was bullied because he was poor.

Maybe his act was a cry for help that can show us that starting in elementary school, people need to watch out for others getting bullied.

eta- i am not justifying his actions or making excuses for him. i am merely trying to make sense of a senseless act

Plenty of people are bullied, sometimes sadistically, and don't kill anyone. It was unfortunate that it happened, but that is not a justification.

@uncalled4 i'm not saying he was justified but what is the point on arguing about it at all. my thought is what can we learn from this and what can we do to prevent it and I dont think gun control is the answer though it probably shouldnt be that easy to buy those kinds of weapons anywhere at the same time

@uncalled4 Plenty of people kill their spouses and kids when going through divorces and custody battles. Plenty of people shoot others in road rage incidents. One person slapped another on the stage at the Academy Awards. We all have things that will push us over the edge and it can be a fatal mistake to think that the other person is sane and in control of his emotions.

The shooter obviously intended to shoot someone and the argument with his grandmother pushed him to do it.

@Diotrephes I'm a divorced guy, so I can empathize. And I also didn't shoot anyone over it. But you're correct, we got a lot of people who aren't wrapped too tight. They get access to weapons and well.....

@uncalled4 Those situations are tough and they can go very bad when the wrong things are said.
