How hard are some minimum firearm rules

For example:

Have red flag laws
Raise gun and ammo age for purchase to 21
Limit clip sizes
Have some type of qualification in place in order to buy semi auto weapons
Restrict types of ammo. What is being used is more lethal than legitimately needed for sport and even home protection

These seem like no brainers that infringe on a minimum scale

It’s not like every American can get cleared by qualified therapist whatever that is to be a safe gun owner. Can’t make people go. Quality of therapists vary wildly and they have biases. Who pays them? How much? Even if cleared today the person could be a good faker like the polygraph passing liars or have an overnight or later change and become a nut

I'd agree with those restrictions And people who do shootings generally don't go to therapy because by time they want to do that to people, it's too late. I also wanted to point out that it sucks to say this but we have genetics, it's not the reason behind it but some people are prone to it.

All true. Those types are not going to see a therapist or even if required won’t participate in the process. @SatanBurger

@SatanBurger Using genes to place restrictions on this far innocent people sets an incredibly bad precedent.

@BlueVeins I didn't say genes should be used to place restrictions, the only part I said about restrictions was that I was agreeing with Jack about restricting until age 21 and all that. The latter part dealt with psychology. I said genetics counts towards whether someone would be a mass shooter or not. But this isn't 100% of what makes a human being a human but there is genetics and other things that lead to aggressive behavior. Like for instance scientist found that people who had lower levels of MAO-A with increased frequencies of antisocial behavior (but only paired with mistreatment.)
