@HootyTheNightOwl some people would still be able to get it indeed, but I for example wouldn't know where to start looking for a gun, let alone a tank or nuclear missile.
@NerdyPotato you want a black market gun start looking on the street where you find prostitutes and drugs. Should take you an hour at the most. Ask any cop. He will tell you the same.
@Baremine I have no idea where to find illegal prostitutes and drugs either.... The point is: it won't stop everyone, but it will stop some people. And before you start about "but only the good guys": most shootings are performed by people who were good guys until then.
@NerdyPotato Amsterdam and France are keeping our customs busy finding guns these days.
According to the article, a lot of those guns came through the Hook of Holland and over the Channel - most noteworthy is the date... this was during Covid19 times.
Tanks can be found on Ebay if you look hard enough. People restore them to exhibit at shows.
@NerdyPotato I wouldn't call between 45 and 70mph "slow". Sure, you'll probably get attention from the police at an earlier stage - but I doubt that the current methods they have for stopping cars will be as effective.
@HootyTheNightOwl fair enough. But why would you get a tank just for driving? Plus I bet it would be a lot more expensive than a machine gun and some ammo, and more difficult to learn how to use well enough to get it to the venue.
