Have the Police changed from people who want to Serve and Protect

to people who are attracted to crime and violence? Does having no consequences for their actions breed criminality.

They’ve become more obvious since the GOP more openly encourages violence, they were this way all the time.
@BackyardShaman When you start taking a kid who shot up a Black Church for a Burger there's a real big problem.

I don't think the police have ever changed. Bullies behind a badge with a license to kill.
@hunkalove The kids in my highschool who went on to be Cops were definitely bullies. Failed athletes.

The Walla Walla city council voted on Friday, to reject community demands to disallow offensive, visible tattoos on city employees.

What drove the case, is a police officer, who joined the police following military service, who had visible SS tattoos on his arms.

The city council said it was concerned about violating 1st amendment rights.

Like any group of humans there are many variables in the motivation and behavior of police officers. Try to recognize the good ones and hold the bad ones accountable. Encourage and demand that those in charge do the same.
@sunnudenow The Police don't hold the bad ones accountable which makes them all bad.

@Pitchblue That is certainly a problem when bad ones are promoted and promote a bad culture. I know it happens but I don't think all officers should be put in that box.
@sunnudenow The "Good Ones" work with the bad ones everyday. I guess it's like the Good Republicans not saying a word about the racist, sexist soup Trump and his sycophants have created.
