So if I sign a DNR does that mean they won't pump me full of drugs to bring me back?

If I don't want to suffer anymore do I have the right to die? What happens if a Pro Life Nurse is on duty that day? Will it depend if the person who signed the DNR is Male or Female?

A signed DNR makes it so that any attempt to bring you back will result in assault charges and a massive amount of legal action against the medical staff who participated in the effort. As long as you have the necessary information and have it completed it’s a legal issue especially if you are health. And yes everyone from EMTs to doctors and nurses have to respect a DNR order.

@OggggO contraceptives service have other medical uses and I’m all for keeping shit that already serves a purpose you just can’t go and un-invent shit although leftists try to do that with firearms on the regular acting like I can’t make a firearm and a heavily armored vehicle with a trip to a hardware store.

@OggggO an ortho oncologist who works in one of the worst cities on the east coast another who is a general surgeon and another gastroenterologist. Not giving names but they all went to the same med school

@Ozuye502 Again, not the question you were asked. No one said anything about “uninventing” or whatever nonsense you want to deflect with, the question was, “what about the states that want to ban contraception?”.

If I get to the point of no reason to return my first tattoo will be “DNR” in large letters on my chest!
@SageWanderer It's not malpractice if Republicans change the law.

@Pitchblue It will be interesting to see how courts will interpret those laws. And how far they will push those limits.
@SageWanderer Right, how will the Supreme Court write up a bodily autonomy ruling if it only affects Women.

We have the right to die with dignity law over here in Oregon. ⭐ If you're terminally ill and in great pain/distress you can get a lethal injection to assist you on your way to "the other side," if there is one.😏
No. Nurses are bound to do their job.
@Pitchblue you asked about DNR, not abortion.

We responded about DNR, not abortion.

If you disguse your meaning with otjer topics, it just leads to confusion and frustration. 🤷‍♀️

All genders have the right to DNR.
@OogieBoogie They have the right to a DNR now but the new ruling on abortion should change that.
@Pitchblue then maybe you should have titled your post like that .

I can guaruntee you , not one response here considered you were not talking about an adult , but a new born .

I responded to something i considered was about choosing to let ones own life take its course without medical intervention.

Not abortion.

@CopperCicada And they can be sued for ignoring a DNR now but if noone has bodily autonomy a pro life nurse could force someone with a terminal desease to continue to suffer.
