Why is everyone acting so surprised that the Republican party is more concerned about who leaked the memo than its contents?

In any criminal organization, it is always the whistleblower who is punished.

I don’t think anyone is genuinely surprised that they’re more upset at getting caught doing wrong than about doing wrong. That’s just who the GOP is.
Even during Watergate, it wasn’t the break-in, it was when folks started naming names.
