That’s not really what he said. It was taken out of a long sentence that contained the words “for god’s sake, this man cannot stay in power”. The White House said Biden is not calling for regime change. That’s not how to approach regime change in Russia. That’s got to be organic, and should come from the Russian people, not the West.

I am saddened to learn that his staff are saying his demand that Putin cannot remain in power is somehow not calling for a regime change, but I agree with you that change must come from within.
