Of course he doesn't set gas prices. But when the administration is knowingly hostile to fossil fuels, cancels several expensive projects around fossil fuels, passes bills that encourage use of alternative energies, makes statements around limiting/ending fossil fuels, and refuses to take action to increase the supply of fossil fuels knowing that a war is coming that will spike the prices...
...that will also have a significant impact on the price of oil and gas. If the fossil fuel industries know that the Dems want wind down their business why would then spend millions on developing new energy sources that will only pay off after a 10-15 year investment?
It is absolutely the Biden administrations decisions that are largely responsible for the increase in oil/gas prices that have caused the spike in prices that we are all paying for right now.

The US exports more than it imports, I guess because the country is big and the infrastructure not ideal.
If internal movement was easier then maybe the imports would stop and the US could set its own gasoline price. You used to ban crude oil exports to be self sufficient, not sure why you stopped

That’s exactly right. But what a dumb ass president shuts down a major Pipeline making us much more dependent on imported oil demand goes up then the price goes up dumb ass

@SW-User It is what started it that is a fact and then with the additional shortages it was amplified. If the pipelines was running Both the Keystone and the Canadian we wouldn’t be in this mess with gas prices. Go get a booster shot
