Alliances aren't what they used to be :(

Russia still seems on the brink of invading Ukraine and all the Ukraine-friendly countries are saying they would definitely impose economic sanctions on Russia if that happened. But they would not help Ukraine fight. Canada is even hesitating about whether to sell Ukraine weapons.

I am glad there isn't going to be a world war over this BUT if I were Ukrainian I would feel totally betrayed.

1. There is no alliance between the Ukraine and western countries.

2. We only send troops, when a country that cannot hit back does something stupid. Like Iraq, or Afghanistan.

3. An invasion of the Ukraine will end Putin, eventually.
