@hippyjoe1955 Canada does manufacture and sell weapons, which is why Ukraine is asking us for them and our politicians are arguing about it.

@ServantOfTheGoddess Canada has a very limited arms building capacity and it is shrinking. My daughter used to work at the plant that made armored vehicles. That was shut down about 6 years ago.

First you make a patently false claim, then you back it up with a moving personal anecdote that does not in fact alter the big picture (on the big picture see for example https://canadiandimension.com/articles/view/swords-into-ploughshares). I hope everyone will keep this in mind next time you sound off about how the covid vaccines are fake, racism never stopped anyone from getting ahead, and so forth.

@hippyjoe1955 Also typical of your lines of argument: a diversion tactic. Canada isn't "famous" for producing weapons; that's utterly irrelevant to the fact that we manufacture and deal in them.

@ServantOfTheGoddess So how about you provide a list of weapons Canada does produce. Seems simple enough. Canada produces a lot of parts of weapons but can you name something that is a complete weapon that Canada manufacturers and sells to the world?
