Jussie Smollett found guilty of five felony charges in staging hate crime against himself…
I wonder what this will mean in terms of how he’s sentenced. No question it was a really stupid thing to do, considering that actual hate crimes still occur.

@bijouxbroussard If that gets to be a trend, it'll be a real mess.
As far as Smollett is concerned, I think he should be assessed damages for the investigation costs for the fake crime - but he's really done enough damage to himself...why support him in prison?

@Mamapolo2016 I agree. A hefty fine would be in order. I’m not sure prison would be. There was no loss of life.
