Yeah...the resources he wasted, the dent in the perception of legitimate hate crimes, the embarrassment to my own community...he needs to not only compensate monetarily, he needs to spend some time behind bars. Just enough to think about his actions and the people affected.

@Carla I might’ve felt that way before, but after we just let someone go free who killed two people, I could see a large fine and parole for someone who did something really stupid but caused no loss of life.

@bijouxbroussard well...you have a valid point. And I reckon an ankle monitor for a time and parole, along with a hefty fine would be adequate. It just really pisses me off when there are so many real hate crimes that get so little attention.
