One thing I will say is I can't agree with the term "tyranny". In a society one's rights end where anothers begin and people have the right to be safe in that regard, financially also as covid financially crippled me for a month.

Then to remain safe, the individual needs to wear a N95 mask, or a K 95 mask. I wear one, but no one should be fined for not wearing one. What about the right’s of the non mask wearer, or don’t they have rights? @Ryannnnnn

@Carissimi The thing is due to the nature of the issue it goes beyond the individual as the more it spreads the more it mutates. Thus as a society, the community trumps the individual when it comes to matters of public safety.

It's comparative to saying it's up to people driving cars to not drive too fast, what about their rights?. It puts other people in danger, which is why it's being implemented.

This virus is not Ebola or Smallpox. 99% do not have severe symptoms, and as happens when a virus mutates, it becomes weaker, as the Dr. In Botswana has said that this variant is only giving people a headache and fatigue. Only one person has been hospitalized. The western government’s are overreacting. @Ryannnnnn

@Carissimi A lot of people regardless of severity have long covid which we don't know how long lasts for yet. I've had it and it's not nice, people with asthma and the like are vulnerable to dying from it and they have. So the reality of just letting people get it is possibly killing somebodies family member or child.

The families of those people don't think they're overreacting. Takes like no effort to put a bandana on your face for a few minutes.

@Ryannnnnn Well said. Far too many people assume "rights" means their "right" to do whatever they want with a cowardly abrogation of responsibilities or care for everyone else.

No, it's not, neither of those has killed 5.2 Million people worldwide in the last 18 months and yet you state that Governments are "overreacting" what will it take for you to realize the seriousness of this virus? 10 Million dead, 25 Million, 100 Million?

@Ryannnnnn
If fauci/fake news told you that wearing a dildo on your head would keep you safe, would you do it for "other peoples safety"? 🤣
Ryannnnnn · 31-35, M
@wildbill83 It's to stop the spread of particles, not make you immune to catching it. I dunno I don't listen to American news really my guy.
