Do you suppose this has anything to do with Ghislaine Maxwell trial that is starting today and maybe he is one of many who are named as defendants on the indictment? He said he wants someone who can run Twitter better than he can. He has been the CEO of Twitter since it was first founded in 2006

🤔 Hmm. It could also be that investors are pissed because he literally swung the 2020 election to the money losing loser we've got in there now, (when he banned Trump from Twitter)...and I don't doubt investors are vocal about it.

Twitter stock went up 5% as soon as the news of his retirement went public.

@4meAndyou And he created a lawsuit too, Trump has filed one. I don’t know when that one is due in court.

@cherokeepatti Exactly, social media platforms are considered to be first amendment protected, and I think SCOTUS even ruled on it, Trump's civil rights were violated by the ban, same with facebook.

@NativePortlander1970 A lot of people got suspended on Twitter not for anything negative they posted but because of who they were following. They did not want people to be able to communicate and they cut ties without warning, millions in a day. And it happened several times.
