I just watched a video from the Kyle Rittinhouse trial.
It was of the guy who had his bicep shot off.
He admitted that he did have a gun, not a phone like a lot of people were insisting.
He admitted that Kyle didn't shoot him until he pointed his own gun at him.
Do you think this will be a game changer in the trial??

The video was from the trial and uploaded by Dad_bod_1973 on TikTok.

So, the sequence of events is Rittenhouse has his gun pointed at the guy then guy points his own gun in self-defense, at which point Rittenhouse who had his rifle pointed at that guy, finger on the trigger, having just murdered two people, fired and pulverized the guy's shoulder, and that makes it self-defense for Rittenhouse?

Or are you saying that Rittenhouse is the only guy who should have a gun and allowed to shoot in "self-defense"?

@Northwest Settle down. Just saying what I saw in the video.
I also saw the videos from the incidents that night.
Have you seen any of them??

@Dainbramadge Sound (or video) bites, out of context, provide no real useful information to help one form an opinion.

@Northwest This particular video was of the court room and the defense questioning the guy.
I posted where I saw the video and who posted it so you could see it for yourself.

@Northwest the part I read said the guy on top pointed his pistol at Rittenhouse and once the pistol was pointed at Rittenhouse, Rittenhouse aimed his rifle at the guy on top and shot the guy on top.

And that goes to the point I am trying to make: sound bites, especially as played by the prosecution or defense, are out of context attempts to sway the jury, but rarely tell the actual story.

@Northwest I said video. Just go watch it yourself and see what you think.

I did and my comment was AFTER I had seen the video.

@Northwest But I am confused. Are you saying the video is a sound bite???
Are you saying the video was dubbed???
I guess I could use clarification so as to not jump the gun.

@Dainbramadge My initial comment in this thread:
Sound (or video) bites, out of context, provide no real useful information to help one form an opinion.
There's a context that the few seconds of video, shot from a single angle, does not show, and it includes Rittenhouse murdering two people a few moments earlier.

It provides good theatre for the courtroom, but it does not tell the story.

@Northwest Oh. I see what you are saying. I think initially we were talking about two different videos.
The video I was talking about was just testimony from the guy shot in the arm.
The other videos seem to catch most of the engagements. To me at least.
