Why are people from cities so scared of going into the woods?

Plenty of people feel isolated in a big city

@Ghostinthemachine I don't like cities but I'm not scared of them. So I don't understand the woods fear

@WowwGirl Some people that I know live in the country hate the city, the crowds and traffic.
I think the opposite could be true about the woods for people who live in the city.
Fear of the unknown…the animals, the isolation…

@Ghostinthemachine I don't like the city I feel boxed in everywhere. So your probably right.

I'm not afraid of it though is the difference I'm seeing in the two perspectives. I know people who are terrified of the woods not just dislike
