I have lived in mountains all my life. A day outside is worth so much.

@Secretsmile I'm in the mountains too and one of the hardest things for me is to remember that I'm not on vacation. The environment and pace can be more like a getaway. But you still gotta' work. :)

Walking in the woods has always been something I have found to be peaceful and healing.

I have read that it is beneficial to healing
@cherokeepatti Perhaps it's placebo effect, but when the very air you breathe is suffused with life, how can it not be beneficial? :)

Especially if you have been away for a while:)

I absolutely love walking around forests!!

A little torn on this one. Science has proven, as anyone who spends a lot of time in the wilderness already knew, that there's restorative elements. Among other benefits. But it's the idea of calling it "forest bathing," and creating paid excursions or forming groups to do it, that I can't wrap my head around.

You do so every time you feel the sun on your skin.
The place doesn't matter. It's how you attune yourself to the environment.

Even better being naked in the forest.
