used to be a lot more bearable snowshoeing or hiking from home base

...until they went and clearcut nearly a thousand acres worth of relatively young forest, mostly within the valley ridges all the way down as close to the forested buffer zones as they can get away with, to the point of there being no windbreaks stepping out the door until practically standing brookside.

indeed you're more likely to die from exposure with 2km of home on a blustery day like this than you would be 20km further out lost in the forested crown lands...

who needs that many potatoes anywayz. 🚬🙄
